IT Business Solutions Analyst serves as primary liaison for the business community. He/She is responsible for conducting the initial assessment of technology requirements of respective business functions. He/She works with business power users to ensure that IT change requests to support Cluster/Market growth and transformation objectives are in line with strategic priorities and JTI's IT change management process. He/She provides the necessary support to successfully complete the business requirements analysis and solution evaluation and selection, while complying with JTI IT and Corporate governance standards, He/She also assists in the planning and execution of approved projects, and provides project administration support, including project budgeting, procurement and billing, while at the same time ensuring effective and efficient on-going day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a liaison between business functions and IT, transform business needs to functional requirements and specifications;
  • Consolidate and formalize company departments’ requirements in the form of functional specifications;
  • Perform applications user acceptance testing with all involved business functions, Corporate/Market IT and external providers;
  • Prepare manuals for systems, plan and conduct trainings for key business users;
  • Provide support for project managers with application roll-out;
  • Analyze and resolve incidents of application failures with the involvement of developers and project managers;
  • Provide applications administration, update and maintain services and master data in applications;
  • Prepare and coordinate testing activities of corporate systems functionally according to Corporate process timeline.

Requirements:

  • University degree in the fields of Information Technologies / Computer Science / Mathematics / Economics;
  • Good experience in business analysis techniques, functional specifications preparation, application testing (at least 1 year);
  • Experience in work with software for business processing modeling;
  • English: Upper-Intermediate (spoken, written);
  • Strong time-management, planning and coordination skills;
  • Good communication and negotiation skills;
  • Good analytical skills;
  • Well-organized, self-disciplined, responsible and result-oriented person;
  • Structured approach and attention to details;
  • Ability to learn quickly.
