POSITION SUMMARY:

The Oil and Gas Presales Specialist is an active participant of the presales organization who supports active sales cycles. A Presales Specialist interacts with prospective customers through discovery conversations, product solution demonstrations, executive presentations and follow-up discussions.

This is a 12-months internship contract for full-time..

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS:

• Explore and analyse Oil and Gas Industry to identify common trends and opportunities;
• Explore and analyse Digital Cases in Oil and Gas Industry;
• Explore and analyse TOP Oil and Gas companies and their IT Landscape;
• Compose and deliver superior sales presentations covering SAP and partner software solutions to prospective customer audiences. The presentations must articulate the sales message, differentiate SAP, and leave a strong and positive impression to audiences which can include senior company executives;
• Follow up and finalize all aspects related to the project initiated for SAP Forum 2017: “Drons for the real-time data collection and transmission for the hardly reachable oil fields”. This project has been initiated as a business development activity within COO Oil & Gas, and should finish as a prototype.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

• Degree in Information Technology/Computer Science/Economics/Management or University • Students close to closure;
• Excellent customer and colleagues focus and communication skills (oral/written);
• Problem solving/analytical skills;
• Ability to work in teams of multicultural nature;
• Fast learner with IT affinity;
• Willingness to help and support;
• Upper-intermediate level of English (spoken and written) is required;
• MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook);
• Knowledge in Analytics or Consulting (ITbusiness) would be a benefit.
